Coffee First, Code Second, Conversations.. Always

· 1 min

Well, as the title says, “Coffee first.” This is exactly how I start my day. I put a small heap of finely ground Greek coffee into a small pot called a "Briki”. After a slow and gentle simmer, it’s ready. The strong, bold taste of the coffee is the perfect way to wake up. Personally, I wouldn’t have it any other way.

My point? All good code starts with a perfectly brewed coffee. The kind that makes you go “ahhh” after the first sip.

I’ve been programming for the last 10 or so years. It started as a hobby, but slowly turned into freelancing and eventually becoming a professional in the field of Software Engineering. Since the early days, I’ve always tinkered and experimented with web technologies, such as PHP and JavaScript to show information and do various interactions on a web page.

Over time, I’ve evolved and have learnt new technologies. A few of them are: Remix (now React Router 7 — the best JavaScript frontend framework right now), React, Go, TypeScript and Laravel.

Now, you must be wondering. Why did you start this blog? To answer your question, there’s two reasons.

The first: I want to share my knowledge and experience as a developer and a freelancer. There’s no point in keeping all of the experiences and knowledge i have to myself. What good does that do for anyone?

The second: By sharing my knowledge, it forces me to understand it at a deeper level. How can you share or teach someone if you don’t truly know what you’re talking about?

That’s all for the moment.
