Saint Spyridon College

Saint Spyridon College came to me through a word-of-mouth referral. I rebuilt its website to give families clearer information and introduced online tour requests and enrolment expressions of interest, replacing paper forms.

Making information easier to find

The old website was difficult to use and had not been well maintained. Navigation was confusing, information was sparse, links were broken and the images needed attention. It needed a full rebuild to give the college a better foundation.

I helped adjust and organise the content, rather than rewriting it from scratch. My focus was on the interface and the paths families take through the site, making it easier to find information, understand it and know what to do next.

Making the next steps clear

Enrolment guidance connects families with the forms they need.

The first two enrolment steps: book a tour and submit an expression of interest online

Requesting a visit online

Parents can send a tour request directly through the website.

Replacing paper forms with online enquiries

The previous website had no online tour request or enrolment expression of interest forms. Parents had to complete the paperwork physically.

I introduced both forms on the new website so families could send their details online. The enrolment information leads into those next steps, bringing the guidance and the enquiry process together.

Keeping a record of every submission

When a form is submitted, the school receives an email with a generated PDF. The parent receives a copy with the PDF too, so both sides have a record of what was sent.

Submissions are also stored in a database. If an email fails to send, there’s still a saved copy rather than the enquiry being lost.

Continuing to improve

Feedback since launch has been great. Parents have said how much easier it is to find and understand information on the new site.

I continue maintaining and improving the website, building on the foundation we put in place with the rebuild.
